TL 9000
TL 9000 is a set of quality management system requirements and metrics designed specifically for the telecommunications industry. The Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QUEST) Leadership Forum developed TL 9000 based on ISO 9001 in response to past product and service failures within the industry.
TL 9000 defines quality system requirements for the design, development, production, delivery, installation, and maintenance of products and services. Included in TL 9000 are performance and cost-based metrics that measure reliability and quality performance of the products and services.
