Statement of Impartiality

ABS QE and its employees and contractors understand the importance of impartiality and the consideration of any potential conflict of interests in carrying out its management systems certification activities.

ABS QE has a compliance program, which includes its Code of Ethics and Code of Ethical Business Conduct and Conflict of Interest, so that the required standards of ethical conduct are applied globally to all its activities. Details of this program can be found within its Code of Ethics and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

Within ABS QE, we conduct a risk analysis annually of all ABS Group activities. The analysis is then reviewed by the impartiality committee of ABS QE, which is an independent committee composed of members representing our key industries.

Conflict of interest and objectivity is addressed in contractually binding agreements, so that all management system certification activities are conducted in an independent and impartial manner.
