SA 8000 is an international standard for improving working conditions around the world. Participants intend the SA 8000 standard to help apply these norms to practical work-life situations, including standards on health and safety, working hours, wages, and discipline. These conventions encourage management to implement sustainable systemic changes in how it runs the business.
