ABS Group Services do Brasil Ltda (ABS Quality Evaluations) Continues Serving The Brazilian Association for Certification Bodies (ABROC)
São Paulo, Brazil—ABROC is a non-profit organization founded with the purpose of actively defending the interests of Product, Systems and People Certification Bodies in Brazil in a impartial and independent manner. ABROC's mission is to enhance the conformity assessment and ensure its credibility.
Since ABROC's foundation, ABS Quality Evaluations (ABS QE) has been an important part of the Executive Council, acting as President of the Executive Council until December 2011. Recently ABS QE was elected Second Vice-President of the Executive Council for a new term starting in January 2012 and continuing through 2013. According to Brazil Country Manager, Sergio Luiz Custodi0, "It is an honor to be asked to continue our support of the work done by ABROC helping to ensure consistently high standards for all Certification Bodies in Brazil."
