ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training - 3 Days
Course Description
All levels of company members from Chief Executive to Workforce. This course is not only a requirement for those who are to be used for internal quality audits, but also an essential course for Senior Management, Quality Managers and Line Management who wish to have and be part of a successful and effective Quality System.
- Process and System Approach to quality management – an introduction to eight quality management system principles and explanation how they are related to the ISO 9001:2000.
- Audits – an explanation of audits, their purpose and planning, and the way to approach, perform and report the audit.
- Auditors – their responsibilities, personal attributes and auditor selection. Auditor Certification Scheme.
- Auditing Tools – the various tools that are available to assist auditors.
- The concept of nonconformity, the need of positive approach to nonconformity and the importance of proper reporting of nonconformity.
- The roles and responsibilities for handling the nonconformity detected during the audit.
- The importance of managing the audit, the various stages of the audit and their function and the importance of effective planning and preparations for the audit including the necessity of precise determination of audit scope.
- The system approach to an audit and in particular the importance of the structure of the quality management system, its processes, their sequence and interaction for effective management of internal audit programs.
- The concept of system mapping and its benefits in planning an effective internal audit programs.
- The characteristics of an audit report that bear on its quality and the need and importance of positive reporting the audit results.
- The importance and nature of effective communication in the audit process together with the possible obstructions or barriers to effective communication including psychological issues and cultural sensitivities.
