SA8000
SA8000 is a global social accountability standard for decent working conditions, developed and overseen by Social Accountability International (SAI). The standard is based on the principles of international human rights and conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), which encourage management to implement sustainable systemic changes in business operations.
SA8000 aims to improve the work conditions in organizations globally, improving employee's conditions in the company. The standard governs:
