Alex Weisselberg
President, ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc.
Alex Weisselberg is President, ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc., ABS Group's Management Systems affiliate, a position he has held since April, 2009. Alex's background includes business management and development, strategy development and international operations. He joined ABS Group in March, 2003 as ABS Consulting Vice President, Latin America Operations. He joined the ABS Group organization from Enron Energy Services, where he served as Senior Director - North American Field Operations. Prior to Enron, Alex held the position of President of Amoco Venezuela Petroleum Company, where he led Amoco's entry and operations in Venezuela. In his 20-year career with Amoco, he held various positions in business development, international negotiations and financial areas for its U.S. operations as well as operations abroad.
Alex holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, majoring in Financial Management and International Finance. He also holds Master's and Bachelor’s degrees in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He served as a member of the board of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce and the Inter-American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
