ABS QE is accredited by the largest and most respected bodies, and we continuously update our accreditations to meet customer needs.
ANAB (US)
The ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board is the US accreditation body for management systems. ANAB accredits certification bodies for ISO 9001 quality management systems and ISO 14001 environmental management systems, as well as a number of industry-specific requirements, including:
ISO 9001:2008, AS9100, AS9003, AS9120, TL 9000, ISO 14001, RC14001, RCMS®, ISO 13485
CNCA - Certification and Accreditation Administration (China)
The Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China is an institution directly under the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, which was established in 2001. With authorization of the State Council, it exercises the administrative responsibilities of unified management, supervision and overall coordination of certification and accreditation activities across the country.
EMA (Mexico)
The Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA) accredits certification bodies for ISO 9001 quality management systems and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. EMA has granted ABS QE accreditation to the following management systems:
ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001
IAOB
The International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB) is an International Automotive Task Force (IATF) oversight office. The IAOB is a Michigan Corporation; members include DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG). ABS QE is one of the selected certification bodies recognized by IATF to provide accredited certification for the following standard:

INMETRO (Brazil)
In December 1973, Brazilian lawmakers created the National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO) to support Brazilian enterprises, to increase their productivity, and to improve the quality of goods and services produced by Brazilian companies. INMETRO's major task is to improve the quality of life of the ordinary citizen as well as to seek the competitiveness of the Brazilian economy through metrology and quality. ABS QE is accredited by INMETRO for the following management systems:
ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001
INN (Chile)
The National Institute of Standardization (INN) through Accreditation Division operates the National Accreditation System.
While accreditation is voluntary, in some cases, the regulatory authority requires accreditation in the National Accreditation System, to authorize and recognize the certification bodies, inspection bodies and laboratories.
The National Accreditation System assesses the competencies of the certification bodies conformity assessment according to criteria and requirements defined and accepted internationally. Current ABS QE INN accredited programs include:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
RvA (Netherlands)
The RvA assists in making sure that interested parties can have confidence in all accreditations of conformity provided by and monitored by the RvA. To this end, the RvA maintains a transparent structure that is focused on implementing accreditations in all necessary sectors, both private and public.
The RvA was established in 1995 as the result of a merger between RvC and NKO/STERIN/STERLAB. Certifying organizations that are accredited by the RvA have demonstrated professional excellence and objectivity in the manner in which they carry out their activities with regard to the certification of management systems, products, services, processes and/or professional competence. The ABS QE current RvA accredited programs include:
ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO/IEC 27001
SAAS (US)
Social Accountability Accreditation Services (SAAS) is an accreditation agency founded to accredit and monitor organizations as certifiers of compliance with social standards, including the Social Accountability 8000 standard for ethical working conditions, the InterAction PVO Standards and other verification standards. ABS QE is accredited by SAAS for the following standard:
SA 8000 and BSCI - Business Social Compliance Initiative
